TV VS Movie

Since I took an English course I have not much time to watch
I rarely watch television program, but every once a while I watch the late show David Letterman. I like his style and humor. I know there are many couch people all over the world since the television had been invented. While the kind of people are sitting in couch to watch TV, they eat potato. We also call them Couch Potato.

Most of people always say TV make them fell comfy and release stress. In my point of view, it is waste of time. If you spend several hours to watch the series program, you can do nothing every night in terms of reading a book, learning, listening music, watch movie.

TV program has its benefit infrequently. When I meet my friends now and then, they will talk about last night ‘s TV program. In this situation, I only can say “I have no idea about it, sorry.” Therefore, TV would be a good topic to communicate between friendships. TV is the most common measure in Society, though.

Nowadays, lots of people choose to watch DVD at home instead of seeing a movie at cinema. In the past, there are matinee that screened movie outside on daytime. I have never seen it in Macao. But when I was ten-year-old, I saw it a time. I was sitting on the ground. The move was a classical Chinese movie that about 72 families lived in a house. It was very interesting, indelible, unforgotten. You only take a little bucks for matinee in somewhere, in my countryside, It was entirely free for all. Now, there are no longer matinee will be screened, the village people love TV more than any entertainment.

I understand why TV is more popular then film. At first, TV is free for charge. Second, You can watch TV without thinking, it will tell you anything throughout the dialogues. But in film, you can find out something that you cannot imagine. Third, film is the eighth art, you would enjoy the music, photograph, fine arts, sculpture, fashion, etc.

I’m craving will be have a matinee in Macao on occasion. It’s my dream.

Moody Sunset

It was very wonderful, wasn’t it ? You can see how beautiful it was.

I decided to take picture for it after work. Coincidentally, Mr Chang had the same wish with me. He was going to pick the two photo cameras after work.
I stayed in UM until he came. When he arrived , We immediately drove to the seaside where we can shoot the Macao’s three bridges and coastwise landscape.

I like taking picture in the magic hour that could make your pictures have more gradation. You could see this picture has three levels including the foreground, the middle distance and the background. I especially love the blue color of background. If it is taken at night, I ensure you will not see the blue color instead of black.




Can you fell a few moody feelings in thes pictures? Althought I am not satisfied with the composition, I like the dense red color in the sky.

Red Picture

Do you believe religion? I am an atheist. These days I heard more information about Buddhism from my friends and my English teacher who are Buddhists.

I don’t know what did the monk do in that painting. Why his face was black?
He was a good person or bad?

There only were tow people in that painting, one was the monk, another was a women. I thought she was Kwan-yin. I eventually only took the little part of the full pictures because I liked the red color. It was very sharp.

Today 's afternoon, I found a nice background to take pictures—Culture Centre. The red banner is put on the steps. I like that kind of color. These pictures all were taken by Mr.Chang.
I was dancing like the girl in the banner. I thougt I was flying like a bird.

Am I a good model? I think they are very beautiful even I looked so fat in the pictures. How do you think?

Last night, I studed English until 3:am. I read some English website. One of website owner said that if you want to improve English, you must have motivation. You learn English because you must love it, not for homework As long as you continue to study over2 years, you will make progress.

I see it every day. I like their Today’s English Lesson. It is very useful. My English teacher always uses their articles as teaching material.

Anderson and Landscape in the Mist

I woke up at 9:00. A beautiful weekend but I have to English class. Today, the teacher taught us about Immigration. He ask me which country would most want to move in.
I thought a moment. Actually, I had ever thought about this topic for myself.

Therefore, I mentioned Danmark. Why not is other county that I mentioned? Because of Anderson, who was Danmark ‘s fairy tale novelist. The teacher didn’t know more about Danmark. He always asked why didn’t have students to choose Canada. One of classmates wants to immigrant to USA .

In fact, I don’t like United State very much, but I admitted she is a melting pot. There have a lot of change to achieve your dreams. That’s why I want to study English in there.

After, I had another class about film. I was so tired so I didn’t go. Oh, I wasted my money once again. I slept from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. I thought it was very crazy. You know, that were 4 hours that I did nothing, just sleeping. I fell very regret.

Later on, I went out to have dinner with Mr.Chang. We went to eat Sushi. Tonight dinner cost $139. It was very expensive, thought.

After dinner, the most thing that I have to do every weekend is … watch movie.
We screened a Greek movie “Landscape in the Mist /Topio stin omichli” directed by Angelopoulos.. It was talking about life. I can hardly to say what is life. I was impressed by the filming. The director said “It is a journey which is the initiation into life. On the road the children learn everything - love and death, lies and truth, beauty and destruction.”

A very nice movie.
