I’ve eventually finished the schedule of the coming screening in the Visual Cut Association. The theme will be the relationship between film and literature. It was so difficult to search the contents. In the end, I decided to choose some films that I really like. One of them is Farewell My Concubine(霸王別姬) made by a Chinese director, Chan Kai Ge. The actor in the film, Leslie Cheong, a HK film start passed away three years ago, is one of my favorites film actor. His suicide made me very upset. This film’s story is about homoerotism. I ‘m very interesting in this subject. Surely, this film wasn’t only this selling point. In my point of view, as long as the story is good, I would never care of the
story whether homoerotism or normal relationship. We should open our mind to see anything.
