The movie so gloomy and filled with lots of back humor., but it’s so laconic too. Therefore, we have never seen any flowery in its. Kaurismaki ‘d like to use still shots or middle shots while two actors in a dialogue. Thought this movie without a good story, it would be slight bored.

“The man without a past” was shown, yesterday, in Cut Association. It is a black and white movie which was made by Aki Kaurismaki, a Finland director.
“The man without a past” is a story about an assault victim who is badly beaten that he lose his money (???). After the accident, “M”(Actor’s name) became homeless and without a past.
The movie is very gloomy and filled with lots of black humor, but it’s laconic too. Therefore, there are no flowery sections in it. Kaurismaki used still shots or middle shots while the two actors were in a dialogue. Although this movie has a good story, it is slightly boring.
