“The Graduate” is one of my favorite movie of my private movie collection . I saw it many times before. I always remember Ben (Acting by Dustin Hoffman) how hopeless in it.
Although Ben was a good student in the movie, but we couldn’t see any hope in his eyes. When he graduated from university , he didn’t want to do anything .I never forget Ben’s eyes which filled of sense of frustration even he was how prefect.
The movie was a society problem movie. In 60s, many American felt no hope and didn’t trust the tradition. They wanted to change something but powerless．
I remember dialogues between Ben and his father. Ben’s father asked Ben what happened to him, Ben replied that he just worried about the future. And then the father said, what about it? Ben answered, he want to be different.
That is a point! Everyone wants to be different. Ben not only wanted to be different but also to change his life. The funny thing was he loved with an old woman. I think that maybe the special to him.
The first reason why I like this film is the story , another is the montage. You will be shocked by it.
