Translation

For the translation course’s homework, I translated into Chinese in three ways. I don’t know which is the best one. I only tried to practice using different wiring style.

Studies serve for delight, for ornament and, for ability, Their chief use or delight is in privateness and retiring; for ornament, is in discourse; and for ability, is in the judgment and disposition of business.

讀書可修心養性，旁徵博覽，增添才情。
一個人時，閱書可自得其樂，其味無窮。
與人暢聚，引經據典，不易樂乎。
待人處世，足可提供足夠的判斷力。

讀書究竟有乜好？
其一，讀得興起，自尋快樂無友死。
其二，增廣見聞，人前晒命攞滿分。
其三，才華橫溢，評頭品足晤靠人。

翻譯（三）　
讀書是自尋喜悅之根，增廣見聞之因，才華橫溢之本。
無朋相伴，讀書為你尋到最佳的快樂伴侶。
高談闊論，讀書為你提供最好的養分。
處世待人，讀書為你找到最有才氣的判斷。
